NICE 5 Years – The Aftermovie

This month marks our 5th anniversary, which we celebrated with many of our partners during an inspiring day filled with insights, innovation, and impact.

During this celebratory afternoon, we not only reflected on five successful years of circular timber construction, biodiversity, and social inclusivity but also collectively looked ahead to a sustainable future. Led by moderator Emma van der Leest and with valuable input from experts such as Bas Horsting, Bianca Seekles, Carlijn Stoof, Ilse Staals, Jasper van den Munckhof, and Mirjam Schmüll, we addressed the question: “How do we keep Dutch construction Paris Proof?”
Furthermore, Pablo van der Lugt inspired us with a powerful keynote on the opportunities of biobased construction in the Netherlands.

A particular highlight was the unveiling of our latest innovation: the NICE Tower. This 140-meter-high, fully circular and biobased residential tower represents the next step in the revolution of circular timber high-rise construction.
