During the construction of SAWA, Nice developers is following Nice developers the footsteps of SAWA's materials. We are doing this to see with our own eyes how sustainable the production process really is.

Mark and Robert from Nice seek answers to questions such as:

Where does SAWA's timber originate?
Is the forestry conducted sustainably?
And how is the CLT sustainably produced?

In the second episode of From Tree to Construction Site, Mark and Robert travel to a sustainable production forest in North Rhine-Westphalia. There, Landesbetrieb Wald und Holz explains how trees are sustainably harvested and how new forest stands contribute to an increasingly mixed forest, ensuring the forest remains healthy, vital, and productive.
